Olamide set to drop 7th album with amazing tracklist this November

Popular Nigerian artiste, Olamide, has finally announced the release date for his new album. This upcoming album would be the YBNL Boss' seventh, having been producing an album each year since 2011.

Backward to last six years, a recap of Olamide’s previous six albums. In 2011, the veteran music artiste released his very first album titled Rapsodi, then in 2012 was YBNL, 2013 was another successful year for the artiste as he released Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, followed by Street OT in 2014, Eyan Mayweather dropped in 2015 and in 2016, we had The Glory.

Fast forward to present day, this year he would be releasing another astounding album titled Lagos Nawa aka Wobey Sound which has become a hashtag so trending on Instagram. According to Olamide on November 5th, 2017, the album would be released on Friday, November 17th, 2017, with a tracklist of 17 songs which barely took him and his team 48 hours to record.

Hmm...now did you notice something? A 17-track album to be released on November 17th in the year 2017. Mere coincidence right? Or perhaps it was all preplanned and masterminded by the "Badoo" himself, we just can't be so sure you know...lol.

The hit single, "Wo" is the lead track on the album and I doubt if anyone's yet to hear this amazing song. The song was reportedly banned from airing by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) of Nigeria. The surprising thing is, the song became even more popular after the ban with it's music video hitting over 8 million views. Whoa! Really daunting figure right?

Now that the album's release date is known, all we have to do is wait patiently (or, most likely, impatiently) for November 17th. Just while waiting, it may interest you to know that the Wo-crooner produced one of the songs on his unreleased album titled "Shine" while others were produced by Young John, all mixed and mastered by Oyebanjo Sunday Bbanks.
