Popular Nigerian Actress, Tonto Dikeh, has threatened to take full legal action against anybody who publishes the video recently released by her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill. Tonto claims the video which allegedly reveals her assaulting Churchill has been edited and warns Journalists, media houses and/or bloggers to steer clear. The Nollywood Actress says the video is intended to portray her in bad light and whoever wishes to post it should request its full version. Tonto in a press release signed by her lawyers from the Festus Keyamo Chambers aired that her ex-husband was on the verge of releasing a "short and edited video" of her domestically attacking him. Festus Keyamo, Tonto's Lawyer, says any blogger who intends to share the video must demand the full video as the part which shows Churchill initiated the attack was edited. She said that whatever is seen in the video was a reaction to Churchill's first violent hit.

Nigerian-American music artiste, Jidenna Theodore Mobisson based in the United States, has said one of his goals is to be fluent in Igbo. He said he once took a class in the US to get a good grip of the language. Jidenna made this known on Wednesday while addressing journalists at the Heineken Live Your Music press briefing in Lagos. The "Bambi" crooner said; “I speak Igbo a little but not the way I wish. Pastor Nsikakabasi Akpan-Jacobs voluntarily confessed defrauding Mrs Titi Atiku, the wife of former Vice-President Abubakar Atiku of N918 million in a confessional statement made before an Ikeja High Court on Tuesday. Sunday Odutan , the Executive Director, Research and Advocacy of the Association of Nigerian Electricity Distributors has suggested that public officers responsible for providing power should be banned from using generators. He made the call when he spoke with reporters in Lagos on Tuesday, 24th October 2017, saying that the measure was necessary to compel public officers to live up to expectations in doing their jobs.
